Invitation Budget

Budgeting for invitations is not easy ~ there are so many variables. Paper quality, ink colors, the print method and the number of pieces you would like to include in your wedding invitation all play a large part of dictating cost. Bride's often think it ends there and don't budget the cost of having someone address the invites (calligraphy or digital print) and the extra postage that typically applies to wedding invitations.

If you are looking for ways to stay in budget just remember to keep it simple. The less enclosures you have, the lower your printing cost will be and it is one less item included in your postage. Consider using a response postcard in place of a response card and envelope. You save on the cost of a reply envelope and can use a postage stamp rather than a first class stamp for your replies.

If you are using thermography, letterpress or engraving print methods, than try to stick to one ink color. Adding a second color can add hundreds to your cost.

Don't think you have to sacrifice on quality. You can use beautiful italian papers, print in black thermography (raised ink), use a single envelope in place of an inner & outer set and spend less with us than you might with other online retailers that print on basic white heavy cardstock.

We love when people bring us their ideas. We pull from all of your inspiration and guide you to a product that exceeds your expectations and stays within your budget!
